Jeff Pickel, affectionately known as “Pickle”, was always fascinated by electronics and went on to study electrical engineering at the University of Texas in Austin. The huge Austin music scene grabbed his attention and soon he found himself DJ’ing at fraternities and local venues. A local celebrity DJ took DJ Pickel under his wing and soon he was mixing on two turntables and totally hooked.
In 2009, Pickle combined his enthusiasm for music, boundless energy, and love of nightlife into full-time DJ’ing. Meticulously looking for the perfect tracks, he found his love for open format where he blends different genres in a seamless manner. “I believe the true essence of DJing is not just playing music, but making the crowd feel the music. I want to take them on a musical journey”.
